Unconference Proposals

We’re very excited about the upcoming unconference! This post is a place where we are collecting proposals for sessions (in the comment section). You may propose a new session, or, if there is one similar to the session you want to propose, feel free to comment on it and offer a friendly amendment.
We have a specific number of panels that we think are essential that our Unconference Moderator, Karen Estlund, will post.

Where are the details about this unconference?
A talk about free software, free culture, and their intersections with anti ableism, racism, (cis/hetero)sexism, classism, etc would be really interesting.

And yes — definitely need the kind of panel you mention above.
I wanted to post this piece (http://www.nature.com/news/nature-s-sexism-1.11850) about gender, editorial policies, and sexism in the journal Nature, because I think that Fembot needs to address similar issues and concerns around race when we meet up for our unconference in February.
